I should have been more clear. He said that Resistance is one of two songs that are good off of TR (the other being USoE). I found it funny that he ranked Resistance over some other songs...

It's not a bad song. It's just mediocre-ish.

I pretty much agree though . Although there is a lot with the article I disagree with, I honestly think Black Holes & Revelations is the best and most definitive Muse album with Origin of Symmetry coming in at a close second.

Depends what you're in to. I can see people preferring BHAR to OOS just as easily as I can see someone preferring Showbiz to OOS. This guy obviously loves prog music so it'd make sense that he'd like BHAR the most.

I didn't like the way he seemed to just dismiss the symphony though. Granted, he's right about the fact that it's barely a symphony but it does progress.

BH&R is quality! Personally I'd put OoS first though, but they're both good

It used to be my favorite, and I still think it's amazing, but as an album Oos works much better.

Something can be technically "the best", but still not be your favorite. C'mon Doogie Howser, aren't you supposed to be smart?

That just means you think BH&R is a better album to introduce people into Muse.

It's normally scripted for me. I assume it's similar for you.

I can't explain. It's just a personal thing. I think BH&R is a masterpiece, well structured and almost every track stands its own ground, sounds beautiful, is strong. However songs like stockholm syndrome and blackout are 2 of my favourite muse songs, and of all the albums absolution is the one I love listening to from start to finish
