2 years ago(the last time I was there, ),sa Fully Booked(Global) ang cd ng muse costs P699 (wala silang Absolution at the time..ewan ko lang ngayon). BHAR cost 450. I got Abso for 425! But that was in '04. I still have the price tag. Pero Absolution pa rin yung the best para sa akin. Dahil sa album na yun, naging Muse fan ako. Tsaka siya yung pinaka-consistent para sa akin, mula sa unang track hanggang sa huli.

Ako rin! Di ako papayag na CD/DVD na yung 450-550php na HAARP! I got my copy for 175 HKD (1100php more or less). Otherwise, I'd say life is unfair.

Haha..nice!I keep some of the price tags too Napadaan lang kami nun sa Fully Booked kaya nagtitingin lang ako ng mga cd..sabi ko ang mahal I dunno how much yen he paid for HAARP..stop over ng barko nila sa Japan nun..haha!

Ganun, I asked Fully Booked at Taguig eh they told me out of stock na daw. I swear people, the woman over at warner told me 550 (ayan 550 na ha) yung CD. Pinaulit-ulit ko pa na kung cd/dvd un. Oo daw, its double disc.

Yep nagpunta ko dun once, and ang nakita ko ata eh Absolution (600 nga ata yun if my memory serves me right) basta its not BHaR. OO nga I still have no OoS! Poor thing. Best Cd in the world and i don't have it. Who owns fully booked pala? Do you know. Ala lang just wondering.

Reading this thread, I find it very interesting how difficult it seems to be to buy Muse CDs in the Philippines. I remember visiting a few CD shops in Manila the last time I was there and not seeing any Muse CDs in stock. The selection in general seemed very limited. I guess record companies/distributors don't make it easy for CDs to be available to you guys?

Yeah, most of us here consume our share of music off the hands of pirates or kind torrent uploaders, unless we're lucky enough to have our desired albums released here, buy them abroad, or have the means to buy them online.

Buying them online is very stressful because not only does the shipping cost so much, but we aren't always 100% sure that the package will get to us, because the post office is very good at performing magic disappearing tricks on stuff they like.

We even get charged "taxes" before claiming the packages. One time, I had to pay more than P2,000 worth of customs "taxes" for a couple of books from Amazon. Those were thick, heavy, hard-bound medical books for my sister, so the people who brought the stuff to me really noticed and probably thought it would be a great source of kickback money. I almost got to talk one of the guys there into letting me get away without paying taxes, but when he learned one of the ladies there already gave me a breakdown of fees, he said there was no longer anything he could do about it.

The next time around, a couple of books and a DVD came in that usual brown box. They opened it right in front of me first before giving it to me. Traumatized by my last trip to the post office, I got ready and brought some cash for the taxes. However the lady who attended to me was, um, kinda nice I guess, so she just let me leave without paying anything.

Stupid customs and post office people. Seriously, what I order from Amazon is really none of their business. Oh god, I shouldn't get started on my hatred for the government.

So there. Sorry I ranted.

Yeah it's appalling that that kind of corruption still happens. The very people that should be looking out for others are instead taking advantage of others. I don't remember the details, but I remember a cop stopping my mom's uncle for
some sort of traffic violation and asking for money so he could let him off. A security guard asking for money at the airport too. Sheesh.

Aly ang malas mo naman. When I bought a CD from Amazon, I just picked it up from the post office. My dad says the "tax" thing depends on the courier.

Any traffic violation amounts to 300 Pesos

You can still buy the Q mag with Muse directly at the suppliers office. Hindi ko lang tanda yung number nila

It really is hard to look for an album especially if the band you are looking for is not mainstream.

I'm still waiting for my notice from post office to arrive. I'm getting nervous, baka nawala na yun sa mail. Wag naman sana.

1 out of 2 times pa lang naman nangyayari. Pero tae pa rin sila. Haha! 2,000 pesos din yun. Ganyan talaga dito sa Quezon City, I guess. Tae yung post office nila, tae din yung City Hall. Grrr. I want to move to Makati or some place where the city government cares more for its constituents; I don't like the idea of my taxes going to the pockets of the idiots who run this place.

It doesn't depend on the courier 'cause both my packages from Amazon were sent through the US postal service and received by Philpost. Malas mo na lang talaga pag mukhang pera yung magbibigay sa yo ng package.
