The Eclipse watching was BORING. I mean, whiney vampires and sissy wolves...c´mon...
I was expecting some more action scenes at least, and some blood shedding to clean up the cheese.
The only cool thing was when NSC came on, my mum, who also went with us cause she wanted to see what´s the pig deal about these movies, unexpectedly was like "hey! it´s muse!" My mum rules.

As long as others are posting photos and the thread doesn't turn into a chatting place (which it actually is, but I mean the visual side. ), it shouldn't be a problem. I've even done some drunken phoneposting from parties a few threads back and I sure as hell didn't post any photos then.

So yes, you can post without photos, as long as it is occasional and doesn't turn into a habit.

The thing is that the PTs aren't "made for perving", their purpose is to be a place to post photos of the band members. So "but I was perving" is not a good argument to give to the mods if they'd come in here and there's only banter and no photos.

Well yes, they started out as photogenic threads, but a mod changed it to pornogenic as a joke and so it stayed that way. But the stress is still on photos, there have been a few threats in the past to lock the PTs because of banter.
