To the residents and traders of Teignmouth
I just have to say a big THANK YOU to the residents and traders in Teignmouth. You should really be proud of yourselves. I have never been to a concert in a more friendly place than this, you gave the whole Muse community the warmest of welcomes. I travelled down from Surrey with my my missus on Saturday. On arrival we parked up then had a wander around the town. We enjoyed the cheapest (and biggest!) slap up fish and chip meal ever for under a fiver. I have been ripped off for food and drink so many times it was an absolute joy to go to a place where everything was a lot cheaper than I'm used to!!!
What a party atmosphere there was outside of the Den. Going in to the Den it just got better. Even the food traders inside the perimeter were keeping prices to a minimum, I mean where else can you get a huge cheese roll for a quid?? We went back Sunday morning to look at the deconstruction of the stage. Had a chat with some of the 'older' residents. They had nothing but praise for both the fans and the whole event. I kinda thought they were proud to have opened up their community to people who might not have otherwise gone there. Anyway this was my third Muse gig and even though the stage show wasn't as spectacular and the band didn't play as long as the previous gigs I can genuinely say this has been the BEST so far.

I have to agree. We all gathered in a pub called Dicey Reilly's and the owners were nothing short of lovely. Welcoming and such great hosts. If anything has drawn me to returning to Tinmuff it's the people, they were awesome

Absolutely everybody was brilliant and welcoming
and the Dicey Reilly was a great pub with the best muse singalong on a badly tuned piano. Best memories from there will have to be singing, sidekicks shots and double flash!!

I agree too; it would have been so easy to give us non-residents a hard time but everyone was fantastic.
I travelled down from London on Friday afternoon with my friend and we stayed at the Wear Farm campsite. Really nice place to stay and very friendly. Met and talked to so many nice people as we queued up on Saturday afternoon. It really was a fantastic and memorable weekend Teignmouth; you should be very, very proud!

Tinmuff is such a lovely place, they have the best taxi driver in the world (from Alpha taxis ) and every local person I spoke to was so welcoming and they all seemed to be behind the gigs. Dicey's was mental - spent 2 days in there and was made to feel like a local and not a grockle ![]() Hope to go back really soon so thankyou to everyone that made this weekend possible

I also have one of your Muse stamps displayed on my arm. Methinks it might be permanent.

Actually when the guys hit town the last time (after getting their honorary degrees from Plymouth), they were in The Cellars Bar - just around the corner from Dicey's. That's my son's favourite pub and he told me him and his mates were taking the p*** out of Matt
