pretty sure the gold guitar is a reverend

there were some slightly odd strats in the 80's.. i'm guessing that one was a squier bullet of some sort? the one with the tele headstock?

Reverend! That's right.

It was a straight Fender Strat, no craziness in the headstock. Needed a complete rewire and fretwork, was in sad shape...

Pretty fun day, rewire of a SRV strat with aged bareknuckles. Mothers Milk in the neck and middle, with an Irish Tour on the bridge. Looking forward to hearing it! High res later on.

Quick update. I'm undergoing rigorous training right now to get to where I need to be. It's ass kicking and challenging everyday, but it's extremely enjoyable. Every invoice and guitar case opened is a new puzzle. A lot of the day to day is setup work, nut replacement, fret level/dress, and some wiring issues that need to be solved. But once in awhile you get thrown a bag of parts by a customer for an assembly, basically building a kit guitar.

Our shop is getting a Plek machine next week, so we have to be trained on that. It's going to be insane. Until all of my training is complete in every area and on every tool, I don't get keys to the shop. Basically it's like paid schooling right now, and once it's finished, I'm considered an official guitar tech. I won't be able to use any heavy wood working machinery until then for my personal uses in the off hours. All my builds are on hold for the time being. However, when it's all said and done, I will gladly stand one of my guitars that come out of that shop next to anything out there in the market. That's the level that I'm approaching and being trained in. No nonsense, nothing less than the absolute best. I'm being trained by the best shop and techs in the area. Needless to say, it's extremely exciting.

I paid in full for an amp build and had to wait just over a year for it. I was originally quoted 3 months.

And I don't mind waiting for this, especially if it means it will turn out better than before

I put a deposit down on a custom cock-ring 18 months ago. It was supposed to be done in 2 months but i'm too embarassed to chase it up so just keep hoping they haven't forgotten.

I don't know if I told you, but jackplug contacted me not long ago saying he found a box with my address on it which he thought he sent out ... over two years ago. He said he would send it out if I gave him my new address (which I didn't, as I still felt a bit strange about the whole thing), and after the first two messages, he stopped replying
