Not at all both are relevant. A lot people think your guitar is a stagg. Manson owners included. Stop squirming. And answer the questions. Why is the script logo not a proper Manson's one? Why does it look like it's a late 80's model? Why is the headstock so different from the rest of the custom T's Hugh made. Why did you buy a stagg? And don't give the 'it's a custom T'. We know that but no custom T doesn't have the standard script logo.

they have a different tone.

You can also get Tortoiseshell and various ceramic types, all have a different tone.

I hardly ever play slide anymore so I can't remember, must be on some gtr site though.

i like the orange solid states, only ever used them at full volume, for a solid state, they break up quite nicely

Yeah, Orange solid states are some of the better SS amps out there in my opinion

Exactly how I see it and these 'talented' bands do end up getting nowhere. They may be amazing musicians and make excellent music for their genre and audience but they are either ugly, don't dress the part or have no personality. They get no recognition at all and they eventually die out. I know many people in that category and it's such a shame.

tbh, that's just how the industry works, it's not about music, it's about making money. what's going on with 'indie' bands now is no different to motown or stock aitken and waterman, it's a machine to make a quick buck, not promote good bands as that can take time.

solid state Vs. Valve depends on what you're doing imo

Valve amps start to sound best when you're really giving it some.

most people's neighbours don't appreciate that kind of thing.

Solid states sound the same at all volumes though, unless you're playing so loud that you start to destroy the speaker.
