I'm gonna put this out there. Most of you will probably laugh, but I heard this song the other day and thought "hey this would sound great Muse-ifyied"

Don't ask me why but as a Pink Floyd fan I believe they could do great justice to "Us and Them" or "Set the Controls For The Heart of the Sun"

Helter Skelter (or at least use it's outro as an outro to songs like Stockholm Syndrome) and/or Oh! Darling by The Beatles. Oh! Darling would be for the Origin/Absolution time period.

Slipknot - Psychosocial or either Diamonds Aren't Forever. It would be funny to hear muse cover a screamo song.

Actually, they did some screamo early on in their career. It wasnt that cookie monster shit you get with slip knot, but it wasn't half bad. Very raw.

Anyway, I'd love them to cover dreaming by system of a down, Do you realize??? By the flaming lips, and to actually finish playing my own summer by deftones!!! Bloody hell, they've been teasing with that for ages! Granted, that's still pretty awesome.

Edit - nine cats, porcupine tree!

They should rewrite the whole of 'the planet suite' add lyrics and fit it to their instruments.

Ok so that was a crazy idea

I think a Pink Floyd cover would be great, they could definately do justice to them. Maybe the jam section in the midlle of Astronomy Domine? I'm not sure about the vocals though...

This is going to sound cheesy, but has anyone heard of the '70s band Boston? I actually really love them, and they made some really unique guitar sounds. They have a spacey kind of feel, so it might actually work, plus there's some pretty crazy soprano vocals.

"Don't Look Back" would be a good one.
