everyone knows that the pre-show party is at the front of the queue of the gig. The price: getting up early.

I guess I'm just a sucker for expenses....I got VIP tickets for the St.Louis gig. Fingers crossed that the band may want a free shrimp ball or something.

My kind of party...

Seriously, if this was meet and greet (and not one of those lame "no photo" meet and greets!) or soundcheck, I'd find a way...

Is it really just, nothing, though?

If it's not Eastbay's shipping cost, I could be ok.

So no one has an idea if the VIP package may included a meet and greet? Because I have less than 8 hours before the presale and I need to make a decision!! If there's no meet and greet then I'd rather be front and center on the floor like the last time I went

Going by the description of the package, I would say it's not very likely. But I don't want people to come back and get pissy at me for talking them out of it. I would go in with low expectations and a what you see is what you get attitude and don't buy witht the expectation of a m&g, but for the other "goodies" in the package. If they do show up, then yay! But it really doesn't seem like it judging by the package descriptions.

Yeah, there's no mention of a meet and greet anywhere and I'd doubt that it would be something that the promoters would forget to mention. It seems like the only reason to pay this much for the VIP ticket is because of the guaranteed location in the first 10 rows of first level seating, but anyone could get one during the general ticket sales.

Doesn't Metallica do this for some of their fan club members or something? But they actually get to meet the band before the show too.

no no, its all speculation at this point, no one has the right to get pissy with you :P Ya, I think mentioning the m&g would be a higher incentive to buy the package, so they would have mentioned it.... floor tickets it is then!!

I know Lady Gaga has VIP packages with no meet and greet.
