boss gt-8

ya the gt-8 one with auto riff sounds a bit "synthy" but it's as good as i can get it. i don't think the pattern is wrong.. i use the 60's fuzz and a strat through a marshall avt 275 and it sounds pretty like matt..

Can anyone elaborate on this? I have not a clue how to use the autoriff setting on teh g1-10 to get a good MoTP setting :s

I use the Guitar Rig patch and automate to change the pattern.

I send the output to my Amp and use the distortion there rather than the yuck sound of guitar rig.

If I had 2 synths I'd plug into their filters.

Unfortunately all I have is a Boss gt 10 I just need to know how to use the autoriff properly. That just seems to be hindering me atm.

That's rediculous. You can control a whammy with a bit toe so why you'd need an army of computers is beyond me. Clearly you've never even had a whammy, let alone touched one, else you'd never say anything that stupid. Novus has no whaaaamy, Novus has no whaaaamy.
