When i say Space Dementia, I mean he has literally lifted entire melodies and chord progressions, not just taken ideas.

This is pretty amazing. I wish CE sounded like that on record, and he nailed the extended Globalist part, wish it was like that on the album.
holy fuck that was pretty good

He's also done a Mercy instrumental cover haha, sorry mate that one's beyond saving tbh

That's about as similar as 1:24 is to the B&H solo. Jumping chords and sweeping arps were the autotune and drum machines of classical piano.

I can imagine Shine Acoustic a nice prelude to TG, as it's got that rainy, ambient quality to it.

This has no relation to Muse, but if you want to truly hear a "10 minute prog-rock nightmare" check this out: Come Wander With me / Deliverance by Anna von Hausswolf.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hepsvsx6H70

If you like it her album Ceremony was pretty epic as well - I highly recommend it.

eh this is nice. back then I was dreading the idea Muse could do some song IN 10 MINUTES. While these long songs to do are kind of okay but...

That indeed reminds me the old prog rock times when it kept hitting off longer and longer on.

My opinion hasn't changed since i first heard it... unil the riff kicks in is good, after that i only listened to it once. Looks like is building to something epic and then just ends up going nowhere, very disappointing

When i saw the making of i thought the song would go on with a heavy outro after the Helsinki Jam riff.

It has some of the best lyrics on the album, but I haven't been listening to it as much as the other tracks on the album.
