Between 1.2 million global pure album sales and 1.3 million with track equivalent and streaming equivalent album units factored in the total sold to date

Drones estimated sales in the largest three markets through June 2016:

Drones: 42 (Turkey would have been the 43rd but the festival gig was cancelled due to the precarious security situation there. Australia apparently misses out too. Muse has played 53 gigs Down Under starting in March 2000 and continuing in 2004, 2007, 2010 and 2013 but none are scheduled so far in 2016 or 2017).

Muse has now played in 54 different countries/nations during its career.

'Uprising' Muse Gold (400,000) BPI - The band's second single to reach this sales threshold in their homeland after Supermassive Black Hole was first to be certified Gold earlier this year - Five other Muse singles have been certified Silver (200,000) in the UK.

Matt has likely earned over $1 million in worldwide songwriting and performance royalties from this protest song (album sales, digital track downloads, radio airplay, streaming, synchs).
