The line that someone mentioned before...

'When I am gone, it won't be long before I disturb you in the dark'

That line is so powerful, I think. Sometimes (I know, I'm weird) I stop to think about how fucked up this world is going to be (even more so than it already is) when Matt Bellamy really is gone.

Depressing notion, I know, but true.

Ohh! Glad there's a thread for this song. I bloody love it!
The last chorus is just fantastic. The falsetto and everything just gives me chills.
Another favourite part in that song is the second time he says "what are we built for". That's just... amazing.

Everything about this song is perfect. Especially the bridge after the first chorus, with the haunting organ piece. And the lyrics are beyond me how a 22 year old can write them. The song stuns me.

Megalomania over-rated? Surely not? That's like saying Stockholm Syndrome is under-rated. It just doesn't make any sense!

The thing I love about Megalomania is that I can't really find a category for it. It's not classical, it's not a ballad, it's certainly not rock... I dunno. It sort of dodges all stereotypes, and think that's cool. Muse has once again achieved a higher state of musical brilliance.

... And, really, it's just a cool tune in general.

That was a brilliant analysis of this song.

Was anyone expecting it to be played at all?
