Got a bad feeling about this cycle ngl

Only potential ray of hope I can see would be that, without a full album of songs to promote, the sets are a bit freer with their variety but you know that's not gonna happen.

Hip hop beats? I can only pray they could do it as well as Glass Animals does it.

As far as we've heard him say, Matt's been signing on for individual albums at this point; that contract was originally up years ago. The licensing information for Warner on Drones was different, too, if you look at it.

They're not putting this shit out because of any contract obligations, it's more likely they're signing on for the money.

- europe tour 2018
- they wanna release a new song every 3-4 months
- new album influenced by "burning man festival", many songs with EBM elements and Hiphop beats

Looks like the album will be pure shit.
If they do it right, it could be something really epic.

I'd imagine Matt's idea of 'hip hop beats' are pretty similar to, if not pm the same as what they've already done on stuff like Madness and UD.

It's funny how they tried to stay cohesive for one album (Drones) and still kinda failed, and now Matt feels like they're done with that, and that it's finally time to get back into albums that are all over the place.

Dig down...
Dig down...
Dig down
And find faith
We're bound together
Now and forever...
Loneliness has gone...

I honestly want them to produce it themselves, but also have someone in there who isn't a yes man.

They should have a museboard member on watch at all times, supervising the process.

We can have a schedule.

I'm honestly less concerned with Muse putting out a terrible, lazy song that has no appeal to me than I am with their terrible, lazy antics with their live shows.
Although admittedly there's likely overlap between the two.

Been sending Dick Town to my friends who are not really fans but like some hits. Literally nobody liked the song

I think it's gonna be a hit tbh. Even if only because it's gonna be forced down our throats for the next few months.

I imagine that'd have pretty much the same effect as whatever happened with Psycho tbh

"YES, now do the vuilstamen riff NINE MORE TIMES."

If this really does become some kind of themesong for a kiddie network, yes, it will likely become popular, if just in a Twilight-esque sort of fanbase way.

Structurally Drones is so much what I'd expect the fanbase to come up with as an album. Just needs piano songs.
