The last time I saw Map was on The Resistance Tour where it was more common. If I had started during The 2nd Law I would have never seen it either.

I've generally got lucky with Map of the Problematique - had it at 5/8 gigs. Always a very reliable live bopper that one. Though I don't know if the more electronic sounds of Simulation Theory makes it potentially likely to surface or if it'll just be shoved aside for new shit.

Surely by this point the only way to do that is to get a job as part of the tour crew. Or win the lottery.

Wonder how many Muse fans (not including road crew) have seen that many, mind. I know of the fan who got Fury dedicated to her at Pittsburgh on T2L as it was her 100th, but are there many other known fans with that load of gigs on their roster out there, or at least north of 50?

Genuinely considered getting a qualification in some area of production at one point in the hopes of somehow getting into the Muse crew... if only you could get a season ticket for a tour

I feel like itís probably a surprising amount, I spoke to just a couple of random people in the SBE queue whoíd been to north of 50 and they canít have been to far from my age. Itís not even so much a money thing Ďcos getting around a decent amount of Europe isnít that bad, itís more justifying it and not wanting to burn myself out. With 2019 and 2020 being my 10 year anniversaries of being a fan and seeing them for the first time though, Iím considering going a bit extra as a wee celebration.

Their tour already has early access let's not introduce the season pass too or we'll eventually get Muse crates.

Curious to how this would work, or is it not already the setlist system?

Eh, not so much for me. Gig-going (particularly for Muse) is probably my main hobby tbh, itís all I really spend owt on.

Don't Metallica have season tickets for their upcoming European Tour?

But yeah. There's probably a fair few who aren't here tbf, especially if you have personal experience of meeting some of them.

I would've done more but the burn-out was a real thing. Probably should've done more gigs back when tickets were cheaper tbh.

It sounds blindingly obvious but there's a point when you see the same band a lot of times that you realise that it doesn't matter how many times you see them, you'll never get the tours or performances you missed before you started and those shows were the peak that set the bar. (unless you were there since day 1)

Crates would have been perfect on the Drones tour, fit the theme and would have jollied the whole thing up

Itís not really about chasing the past, thatíd be pointless. Just seeing a band I love. I donít think Muse have had a definitive peak live anyway so, if anything, my love for a tour is just based on how much I like whatever album itís for.

I'm over 50, don't want to say the exact number. In my defense, I was between jobs on the T2L tour and it was kind of a bucket list thing to me to follow my favorite band, so I did it. Unfortunately I got kind of hooked. But, aside from the gigs themselves, it's the fun of being with friends, meeting new people, traveling, and just how different it is from normal life. It doesn't really matter that the gigs themselves are very similar setlist-wise. The performances are always different and it's a really interesting experience to get into that mode of literally traveling every day to a new city and kind of escaping reality.

As an aside, I know 3 people (other than me) that are in the range of 60-100. There are quite a few Americans in the 30+ range as well. That might be a reason why some of us are so vocal.

So anyway, I finally made a song list since the gig last night was my last of 2018.

I find this so true, The bulk of shows I saw them was during bh&r and resistance era and nothing except for SBE has really come close. I think since the 2nd law came out I've seen them 4 times, once 2nd law era 3 times drones. I still call them my favourite band and think tjere great live but I just dont connect with live show as much as back when I first saw them live.

MoTP is one of my faves I'd have heard it live once if I'd only started watching the band post 2nd law which was on the drones tour last year

You think TR tour was better than T2L?
