Wasn't it "Assassin, Assassin" they were chanting, not "Knights of Cyd, Knights of Cyd"? Because let's be honest - Muse are never not going to play Knights of Cydonia.

Of course Matt invested in this!

Quote:
Matt Bellamy, the lead singer of the British band Muse—whose most recent album was entitled Drones—is also, it turns out, one of the company’s first investors.
There’s now a drone racing league that feels like pod racing from Star Wars

*And NME picked up the story too: http://www.nme.com/news/muse/91034

League of Ireland team Cabinteely confirm unusual friendly against Muse and their crew:
http://metro.co.uk/2016/03/24/league...-crew-5773859/

Quote:
Cabinteely, the League of Ireland team from County Dublin, have announced plans for a friendly match against rock band Muse on April 4th.

Currently third in the league having won, lost and drawn their opening three games of the season, Cabinteely have decide a run out against Glastonbury headliners Muse is exactly what they need to get into full swing of a new season.

Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme, Dominic Howard and their crew will take on a Cabinteely XI at their 1,620 capacity stadium, Stradbrook Road.

‘Lining out for Cabo will be current manager Eddie Gormley, Muse bassist Chris Wolstenholme’s son Alfie, who is a former player of the club, and many more to be announced,’ the club said.

‘Managing the Cabo XI will be Tony Livingstone, who was Alfie’s manager when he played with the club. It will be free admission to this game. We would like to thank Muse for taking time out of their schedule for this event, we hope to see you all there!’
Little thing for any Irish Musers with a free evening the night before the 3 Arena gig.

Confusingly worded, but I'm assuming Matt's not playing. Otherwise, god help the fans the night of the gig.

Aye the papers seem certain the band will, when I'm presuming it'll be Chris and various members of the road crew. Pretty sure Chris once said Dom's legs are too skinny to play football anyway.

Better than the Mirror report, mind - way too many song puns: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/row-ze...strock-7624593

Matt did an interview with Nick Grimshaw this morning and apparently suggested Adele could help calm her nerves of headlining Glastonbury by joining them for a song. Could be interesting.

I like the quote he texted Chris Martin when the poster was unveiled with Muse above Coldplay going "Keep trying and you'll top the poster someday."

The trained hawks being used to take out "toy" drones is a real thing. I was really pissed off when I read it, since they're doing nothing to protect the birds from harm from the props, and just assuming they'll be okay. Fine against plastic, but a good carbon fiber blade will do real damage to the poor birds.

The AI breeding babies is true as well, I suppose, if you really think about it.

Yeah. It was on Facebook last night that Adele was going to sing with Muse like it had been confirmed.
