I have to admit I really enjoyed that acoustic version of Dig Down as much as I was hoping for Something Human.

Don't worry, we'll get Something Human on Saturday.

Dig Down carries a lot more emotional weight in this version. It has more room to breathe, as it were. It’s the classic Muse build up to a crescendo (as with Ruled By Secrecy, for example). And a good showcase for Matt’s dynamic range.

Edit: Apologies for the redundancy. Crescendo is by definition a gradual increase in loudness!

Dig Down sounds awesome.

Pressure sounds great except the fact that Chris was doing the "pressure building" bits. If he's gonna do em he's gotta put a lot more into them than that

I’m guessing Saturday will be The Dark Side plus something from their back catalogue.

Maybe it's the way they mixed Pressure live, but it's probably the first time where I prefer the studio version of a Muse song.

That Dig Down version was nice though! Definitely should have been released that way from the beginning. .
