Wait, really? He does that? Gosh, well, maybe it is just a problem with him not being able to hit the notes. I know he's had to switch to falsetto for some songs now, or have Chris sing them.

Funny I think that Fury line is one of my favorite Muse lyrics. Genuinely surprised people don't like it.

Silliest line for me is "Your belly is all yellow."

I've heard people say different thing about this line. I know that the lyric sheet actually says "sense of elation," but the original version released said "since ovulation." Not sure if that was a misprint or a last minute change.

It's definitely sense of elation not since ovulation lmao

I've learned to look past the Fury one because of how much I adore the rest of the song but when I think about it, it does indeed make me sad.

Surprised no one's mentioned:

"She attacks me like a Leo, when my heart is split like Rio" - I love IBTY but wtaf
"I'll turn you into a superdrone"
"You've got the CIA, babe"
"Something something men in cloaks before they eat my soul"
And all of Drones

The "babe"s scattered throughout Drones (album) annoy me.

The only one that really bothers me is the birth squeeze bit.

Oh, and most of IBTY.

I always sort of liked the Fury one myself

You remind me of the babe! Fun fact: the word "babe" appears seven times in Drones.

Yeah, what was the deal with that? No wonder he's only played that song live once.

Do you mean the album Drones or the song Drones?

Agreed. I mean, I get what he was saying in that part with the colors, but the delivery is still silly.

Again, I think that stemmed from a misprint in the original lyric sheet for Absolution.

Silly lyric in an otherwise great song.

setlist.fm says they played it 5 times, actually. I think it's actually a shame they haven't played it more, it would be more enjoyable than Feeling Good IMO.

Huh, really? Funny, I could have sworn it was only once. It's weird, too, because I distinctly remember different versions where Matt was playing piano and other versions where he was on guitar.

Agreed that it would be more enjoyable than Feeling Good, though. That song has basically become tired at this point.

Never before has a truer statement been made. Especially applies to my own lyrics I write for my band Dark Matter. I might be the only person to have ever rhymed "paranoia" with "employer" and then with "sequoia."

Drones, nearly in its entirety, but I love it all.

Drones the album, or Drones the song?
