Yeah, sorry. The one I've got isn't going to fit.

No problem - thanks for your helpful reply. It's always good to get an idea of the cut of some of the ladies' tops, as they seem to vary so much!

Normally, I go on the bigger side of my actual size, but some of the tops are very wide on the shoulders. I've looked at a few vest tops as well, but I'm worried I'd have problems with the neckline and the length.

I shall try and get there as early as I can on Friday afternoon and hope everything hasn't sold out.

The cut of the shirt is way worse than the picture would leave you to believe.
The arms gap open so wide they expose what's under it, so it's either wear something under it, or everyone sees your bra.
And it's SUPER thin.

I really had buyers remorse on that one.

I'd just look for something nice at the new gig.

Moths are sort of creepy anyways.

I think, based on what you said, the small one I ordered will be going back. Don't want to feel self-conscious. Plus, it could be hot at the gig, so wearing something underneath is impractical.

I know what you mean - they do look more like moths. I'm definitely more a butterfly person, lol.

It's a bit embarrassing - I already have a couple of Muse shirts - a Resistance album cover one I wore to the last gig, and the tour date one I mentioned earlier, but they don't fit brilliantly any more. I've put on quite a bit of weight and I don't want everyone seeing my gut , hence why I'm looking for something else nice that fits well. You're right - I'm sure the gig is my best bet.

Thanks for all your help, guys. Fingers crossed I can snap up a flower shirt, or it appears on the online store at some point. Does this tend to happen during the tour? I seem to remember this was the case with the 2nd Law merchandise.

I tend to only wear band shirts where the logo isn't terribly visible, so very limited options.
Muse used to have some real nice ones, but they're all long gone. The moth one was the only one I encountered that had that cut, though. The rest are all perfectly normal shirts.

Wouldn't mind one of the Lithos from the Belfast Date but it was lashing outside and didn't want to get it wrecked on the way home.

With the butterfly shirt, I'm normally a UK size 10, but was thinking of going smaller on this occasion, as I did notice that the shoulders were wide. I also have a tiny chest and I'm only 5ft 3, so I'm guessing the neckline would come down low on me.
It's inside the venue. I didn't intend to buy any merch and I didn't know that it would be different to the stuff that was on sale at the small gigs last year. All that stuff was drab and grey so when I saw people holding up black T-shirts with red writing I was surprised. Massive queue for the Tube so, if you can catch the bus, I'd recommend that.

Yeah, I'm kicking myself for not picking one up in Birmingham. I've looked on Ebay etc but no joy :-(

I got the burgundy and yellow hoodie when i went to manchester and it is ridiculously comfy. I had a resistance one a few years ago but i lost it somewhere and i've been looking for a good replacement ever since.

Don't really get those copper mugs they're selling for 30 quid though. You can't even put hot drinks in them.

I've heard really good things about having mixed drinks and wine in them, but haven't given it a go.
The cooling of the metal is supposed to add to the experience.

I'm a happy bunny, as my T-shirts came today.

Apart from the cut of the arms, the moth top isn't too bad in a small - I normally go for medium or large in ladies' fit, as I like my clothes to be comfortable, but I'm glad I didn't on this occasion.

I also picked up a butterfly top (I'm guessing from the left over Resistance Tour merchandise), with the design made up from hexagons in the colour of the album artwork. Lovely cut and very comfy. I think I'll probably wear this on Friday.

You can never have too many Muse T-shirts! *fangirling*

Any idea when the Drones Tour merchandise will be available online? I had limited funds on the night and nearly choked when buying my roses t-shirt but would love some more.

Also, did anyone spot any programmes for sale? I couldn't see any at the O2
