Prior to Drones (album), Undisclosed Desires was the best song muse had written in 6 years.

NSC, Can't abide it (>_<) It's so atrociously hackneyed and corny, there is really nothing redeeming about it for me. I'm surprised Dom and Chris didn't slap Matt when he came into the studio with the idea for this song.

It's the sound of a dying relationship, quite sad if you think about it.

Don't really see why that changes the quality of the music tbh, but hypothetically, If you didn't know that, would your opinion of the song be different?

Probably, but I like the parts that dont feature the piano the most in the song and Matt's wailing voice(that I usually love)

Its jarring to me. The melodies are trite, the drumming cheesy, it just doesnt sit well. You say its about an ending relationship but it sounds like saturday night at a mexican restaurant from some B movie from the 80s... and this coming from someone who loves KoC!

It's just awful, awful songwriting.

I really like NSC, tbh. The only part that I don't like in it is the ending, with all that uuuuuhh-aaahhh from Matt, I always stop it before that

Not that controversial imo, it's in my bottom 40.

I don't have a problem with NSC. Knowing the backstory always makes me a bit sad, and I might enjoy it more as just a plain "cheesy" love song, tbh.

knowing that a turd is left in a pile on the road all alone doesn't make the turd any more endearing.

I'll agree with you on that one, it's as cheesy as cheddar but that doesn't mean you can't like it.

Well and good. But what I said was I actually like the song, but probably would like it more if it wasn't a very positive love song that makes me quite sad.

Hysteria is the worst song on Absolution (excluding Intro).
