my micro cuts progression, and also, i can sing along and make the same noises he is making for a laugh, but have no clue of the lyrics.
I've listened to the song while reading the lyrics and I'm still none the wiser

I remember when I had only Newborn, Bliss and Microcuts (in addition to the only other songs I had - CTMEOY, Uno and Blackout) in my library. I didn't like all three of them and found them quite weird, but Microcuts I absolutely hated.
As for the lyrics, instead of "I've see-eeeeeen', I heard 'what's thiiiiii-iiiiis?'. So uh, no, I didn't comprehend it until I looked up the lyrics.

first time I heard this was.......it took a fair few repeats to get into...I love the Hullabaloo version and the breakdown towards the end when Dom really kicks in gives me gooseys ....
." Ive seeeeeeeeeeeeen what ya doiiiiiiiinnnnnng to meeeeeeeee".....

Matt actually sounds like Miss Piggy when he shouts "what ya" (doing to me...) listen

Haha, it's an amazing song, but even when I've looked at the real lyrics I can't hear them in Matt's diction. I just make up my own lyrics...or just scream the noises and hope no one can tell. The lyrics I make up are profound though; about 'Lassiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie, royalteeeeeeee yaaaaayaaaaaaaa'.

(The real lyrics are actually quite good...)

Pfffft R U kiddin'?

'course not, who would?

I've got my own theory about this: the lyrics to Micro Cuts are just a loose translation of the original 'alien' language Matt's using to sing the song

I didn't, but just 'cause I didn't hear the lyrics, and I really thought first time that MC is stupid. And now, when I'm little bit older and know Muse more, I thinks its really good, and I like it very much
Some songs I didn't understand totally until I understanded other songs.
Now I like almoust them all.

I loved this song the first time I heard it, and still do. And I certainly can hear the "fox on a cake" part.

I never really got the lyrics... but that isn't what I care about either, it's just a song that forces you down to your knees to do some cheesy air guitar :P

This song is ,to me, the quintessential Muse. Nobody else could sing and no one will probably ever try. LOVE IT!

I have never looked at the lyrics. Instead, I like to try and guess what he's saying. I usually hear 'sounds like frog spawn are dying' and 'Australian puppet shoes'. I think the real lyrics would disappoint me.

You got 'puppet' right. That's all
