I personally think it'd be disrespectful to post endless messages along the lines of "well done Dom, it must've been so hard!" because he's a professional and wants people to judge him on his professional performance, not on speculation about what he's feeling! The only people who matter from that POV are his mum and sister.

And it's nothing to do with being strong, it's called getting on with life, the way your close ones would want you to. I was fucking falling apart on the inside when I lost my friend but I had A Level exams to complete. Much like Muse had a gig to do. And although the pain will still be there you can hardly describe six years after the event as losing someone "suddenly" - if it was that much of a bone of contention for them Muse would've simply refused to play.

it's not commenting on his personal life and it's not speculating. it's no secret, he talks about it himself in interviews which are meant for public consumtion, including recently.
i don't pretend to know anything about him, nor do i think it has anything to do with his performance however, call me sensitive if you will, i empathise and will think of what he himself said in interviews this gig meant for him and the band. and that's not because he is famous or in my favourite band but because he is a human being and i care, like would care for anybody.
in much the same vein, i don't think you really know what it is 'he wants people to judge him on'.

as for the latter, i'm really glad you were able to get on with your life, that is great. unfortunately some people can't it doesn't mean they are weaker or that they care more, some people just, can't. i'm not making a point about anything here, just pointing out everyone deals with grief in a unique and individual way. indeed, some people never 'deal' with it at all..
(and by 'suddenly' i meant on that day, it was very sudden. not that it happened recently.)

The double neck guitar followed by Chris' pipe was pretty epic.

Was Stevie Wonder any good?

Haven't seen anything of todays Glasto.

Just wondering if there's anyone who got the crowd going as intensely as Muse

The usual shit from yet another fan who refuses to let anyone else have a bad opinion of the band.
Just because you liked it doesn't mean everyone else will.

Seriously will people stop suggesting that people who are being critical are being insensitive towards Dom and not thinking about it at all? He's lost a parents, which is a hard thing but it's a LOT harder I imagine than hearing a few critical comments about a gig.

People go into work every day the day after they've lost a parent or a close one so why would going back to a festival be any different. He agreed to play in spite of the memories it holds. I lost a childhood friend a few years back and the last thing I wanted the day after was people pussyfooting around me/not saying anything negative to me on the assumption everything would upset me!

Both posts win the topic.
