If it does happen - which it might! - it'll be a new song. But I can see it being similar to B&H or E:SP3(C-P).

As I said in the Media Forum thread about Muse wanting to do a James Bond tune; Uprising is perfect.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59TSvb6PeMs

Just watch that while listening to Uprising. Notice that the intro quits EXACTLY at the point that when the song breaks in favor for the slow leading point with the "HEY!" clapping parts. It's perfect. Like if they were meant for each other.

Plus note how the dancing women part kicks in exactly at the second verse.

I get a very Bond-y vibe from Uno, TIRO and MK Ultra.

I think just about every Muse song could work one way or another.

Supermassive Black Hole or City of Delusion. Couldn't think of any others that would fit the typical bond theme.

Uno or MK Ultra.

I think they'd have to write a new song if they really wanted a song to fit the James Bond theme.

I'd agree with City of Delusion, MK Ultra, Assassin, and Uno.. they would all be appropriate

Well, James Bond, City of Delusion would be great, intense orchestra
And, Glorious, so intense too, with different velocity parts and rythms

I think there are songs that would be good to use, and then there are songs that would most likely be chosen. For example, I could see a song like NSC being chosen as a James Bond theme song...maybe not that song specifically but something in the same vein.

Fuck Muse, get Dame Shirley back for one more

Still don't get why people think songs like Uno would be good for Bond. Bond Themes need class, USOE if it was darker and less cheesy would be the way to go.

Bond themes have generally been written by the person composing the soundtrack or in collaboration with that person. Except for Tomorrow Never Dies which was a competition. Recently, Madonna, Chris Cornell and Jack White have written their songs themselves and have on the whole been the weakest and prior to this, there was a rare miss in the series (The Man With The Golden Gun is awful, but they followed up with Nobody Does It Better...). Personally I'd rather see them go back to collaborating with the soundtrack composer.
