I was the same with Citizen Erased, 5 times in my first 7 gigs. Bliss used to be super rare (I managed to go to the first 2 UK bhar shows it wasn't played) for me but now I've seen it 5 times out of 6.

I've had Map 7 out of 13, it's getting rarer.

After all that though I just sort of accepted they'll play what they want and you just have to not expect anything at all. Enjoyed the Glasgow shows a lot more for it too.

Still really pissed off I missed Apocalypse though, no idea when that'll return.
UD and Resistance are songs I've sung along to while there happily enough, but there's much better tunage in the live armory IMO.

The one that I'd love to have seen the most that I missed out on by one gig is Butterflies and Hurricanes. They played it at both the other nights to the one I went too for Wembley 2010 and the Emirates in 2013. Not that I can complain that much in the case of Wembley given that we got MK Ultra, Bliss, Citizen Erased and Ruled by Secrecy.

Map has been at 5 of the 8 I've attended. I'd be happy if it did have a 100% record of it though - such a reliably great live song.

Given I've only been to three Muse gigs (Emirates 2013 and SBE/Reading this year) the amount of songs I've seen is pretty high - Sunburn, MM, Showbiz and Unintended from the first album alone!

I suppose the two most common I've yet to see are Bliss and Resistance. Amazed also that I've missed Dead Inside despite two of those shows being in the Drones "era"...

Though I'm not a huge fan of BHR, I always liked Hoodoo, quite an underrated song, I don't recall it being in the list though

Tell me again about US people asking for ONE SONG being entitled whiners.

If people saw that SBE setlist... Showbiz, fucking Glorious... and were upset because they also got KoC, they can fuck right off.

People who are more concerned about genres, especially what is or isn't "pop", can as well.
I would be MORE than happy to see an entire gig full of "pop" stuff of the caliber of Dead Inside. And it is fucking tragic that they're dropping one of their best singles in a decade already.

(And it'll still be the Drones era until they stop playing Globalist. )

I passed up the opportunity for a Montreux ticket last year. Fuckin' me.

(And yep, I saw them in 1999 as well; you're nowt special. That big there gap in my gig attendance was mostly due to illness, before you have a go at me for that.)

tbf it's not 'people' upset about getting Knights at SBE it's one person in particular who is being an entitled whiner (and I agree should go FO). The overwhelming majority of people, including many from this board who attended the gig, were delighted with the setlist at SBE. When Knights, PIB, Hysteria, and Butterflies were played they fitted right in with the vibe at the gig, and were greeted rapturously at the time.
It was a great gig, and we were really lucky to be there. I think that is the sentiment expressed by the vast majority of those who were there.

Knights was the only one I was a bit meh on, just 'cos I don't really like the song and thought this gig should have a different closer for once. Not enough to moan about in the context of the night though, and I still didn't leave early (despite being on the very edge of passing out at that point).

Dude, you know Butterflies was voted into the top 10, right? Of course it was well received

After the Brighton Psycho gig I heard people moaning about getting Dead Inside instead of an old rarity - at that point Dead Inside was a song that had never even been heard, never mind played before that day.

To be fair I seem to remember Futurism being scribbled out on the setlist to make way for DI - could have easily done both

...People like you wished you had seen them when I did, you are the lot that made them into a Pop Act not me I made them big... where were you in September 1999 when I heard & saw Muse...

Yes I know Butterflies was voted in, that's not my point. It was one of the 4 songs that 005 complained about getting, as above. He didn't receive those 4 songs well, and his comments have been pretty vitriolic, triggering a lot of reaction in this thread. That includes Serpent Satellite's post, to which I was responding

My point is, most of us (almost all?) were very grateful for what we got. imo.
