Yeah, I like the live way much better, seems like he performed it that way since the beginning too, I wonder if he regrets not coming up with it in time
For the recording lol

I support any and all elimination of the word "babe."

Unrelated to Drones, but there's that little guitar bit consistently played live in KoC right before the vocals start, and I just cannot deal with it not being there on the album.

It is in the album version though isn't it? It's just buried in the mix a little bit and kinda sounds more synthy than guitar in a way, also i think his execution of it lives a little different

A year ago today since Drones came out? Fuck... where does the time go?

Atm, I still love Reapers & The Handler, and I like Dead Inside, Psycho, Defector, the title track (weirdly) and parts of The Globalist. Mercy and Revolt I can take or leave, despite the former being surprisingly good live and the latter having a bit of kistchy fun to it, and I tend to forget Aftermath exists.

My opinion of the album hasn't changed at all since release, neither my rankings of the songs.
I'm more able to listen to a random track without then losing an hour listening all the way through the album, but that's been better for my sanity, and I still don't skip a single track listening all the way through, or if one pops up on shuffle.

Been very impressed with this album; was everything I didn't really dare hope for, despite any criticisms I might have.
