I would've just posted the whammy program changes, but that would be like tczechan giving someone a guitar tab for a trumpet solo

Did you get this to work? I exported the MIDI file (same one I uploaded recently) and changed the program changes to work with the whammy 5.... but while they were the correct program changes, the event order/timing/whatever got all screwed up. I don't understand how, unless something was wrong with the file after I exported it

I doubt anyone will know as most people here use a whammy for it. I hope you didn't buy it to just recreate that sound.

I bought a whammy IV to recreate the sound. Well that, and they deleted CC0 on the new one, so it doesn't work with my built in kaoss pad

Oh and maybe PM this guy about the G2, as I know he has one

This synthesizer is a modular structure. It is possible to recreate everything.

Has anyone got/know of a MIDI to USB cable that works with Windows 8? It seems like loads won't work with it

Maybe try this one. I haven't used it with windows, but I haven't got anything bad to say about it

http://m-audio.com/products/en_us/Uno.html

It'll more than likely require you to install the windows 8 driver separately though (it can be downloaded from their website)

I've got the effect programmed out for the Whammy Pedal in Ableton if anyone wants the file.

Here it is!

Map of the Problematique for Ableton Live

You'll need to locate the recorded version of the song in order to play along with it, but other than that, just go to arrangement view and the whole track is laid out from left to right. Also, make sure your MIDI cable's output is plugged into the Whammy.

Note: This was made in Ableton Live 8 to be used with a Whammy IV. It should work with newer versions, but I'm curious to see it's compatibility.
