Hey there, everybody.
I'm new here, so first of all - hey to all.

Second - I'm a big muse fan in Israel but only now had discovered how big this "resistance" is and I'm glad people are fighting for bringing muse here.

A few days ago it was announced that Metallica is coming... I'm a big fan of them too, but no live show is compared to a MUSE one. I hope 2010 is going to be a year of great live shows!

Hi westwind, not sure I know you? Hope you joined our Facebook group

And we're so close to 5000 now, it's pretty exciting. In the last couple of days we had announcements about bands coming here almost every day... And each time a big name is announced you always get people asking 'what about Muse?' in these articles' comments well, let's hope we won't have to ask that anymore. I'd like to believe that when they next make their way to Greece or Turkey they'll reach us too. Question is, when will that be?!

Just in case anyone is wondering why Israel is allowed a thread for requesting Muse to play while other countries and regions are not, my reasoning for not locking it myself is because Muse were to play Tel Aviv a few years ago but it got cancelled and never rescheduled. So it seems fair that Israeli Muse fans be given the chance to rectify this because the intention to play in Israel was definitely there before.

Update, according to antsmarching.org, DMB are not confirmed.
However, the site originally thought they were coming in March, so maybe they are missing info?

I have to say personally I'm really touched by all the support we're getting here and especially from the admins and mods
I wouldn't have opened this thread if Muse had already been to Israel. But since they have this many fans here and we never got a Muse gig here... and since we've been putting so much effort into it I think our case is a little different than everyone else's and as I said in the first post, this isn't a thread begging Muse to come here, it's just to state all we've done so far and to get as much support from Musers worldwide as possible!

And Artsy, yes we know about DMB. Very unfortunate but now apparently Bob Dylan is coming (and Coldplay.. )
Bytheway about DMB... from what I heard they never even signed the contracts and the producers of the show just went around telling people they're definitely coming because they thought it'll help them put a little more pressure on the band and its management.
Too many producers here do those things, go around announcing stuff and when it turns out false people are annoyed that 'everyone cancels', which isn't true. They just don't sign anything to begin with lol Stupid producers.

well, today was one of the worst days of my life but a second ago one of the biggest show producers in Israel - Shuki Weiss. someone I know personally that has been trying to bring Muse here since 2007 (he was actually the one who they signed with back then), has just added Butterflies & Hurricanes video clip on his facebook page.

he's been getting harrassed by more Musers than anyone else, he wouldn't just put it on there to tease people. so, it's definitely getting us all pretty hopeful

He also put Stockholme syndrome there... I don't like this game .

By the way, Liron, I really hope you'll love my Idea to one of the project when you will come to my house . I hope the weather will get better or else You, Orna and I will die...! (O.k, not die... but I hope I'll be better).

P.S: people where are you?

I was told today by the secretary of that producer that he's been giving all he can to bring them here but for some reason, the management just aren't signing. We don't know if it's because they're not reaching our area or for other reasons... but I have to say after all we were told in these past 3 years, it'd be really evil of them to ask the fans here to 'wait another year' to see them. Surely a decade is enough?

I just wish we were told what's going on so the fans would know what to expect and not get extremely disappointed once again.
