Matt posted a video of Bing playing with strings on Insta which Matt joked (I assume he was joking) 'Bing arranging strings for the new album'.

Among the best string parts they've ever done, as they work perfectly inside the track.

Resistance strings in general are very strong, not to mention Exogenesis.

Also...knowing Matt I actually wouldn't be surprised he actually put Bing's little recording on the album somewhere.

Also yay! He mentioned something about an album!

Are the strings in Undisclosed Desires programmed? They sound so clear and crisp I've always figured they were real.

I mean...are there any that donít? Mattís string work might actually be the most consistently decent element to his writing tbh, canít think of any songs where they sound bad or feel out of place. The Gloablist gets a little hammy I guess? Not that he even wrote it, just maybe incorporated it heavy-handedly.

Best work has to be Hoodoo, COD, Overture, Redemption, Isolated System, Butterflies, USOE and his International end credits soundtrack though imo. Do have a big soft spot for those cut CE strings as well, even though itís only a small part.

Interesting, how would you say his guitar work hasn't been as consistent?

Proof? I might have missed something.

Anyway, for all of you: they've uploaded another IG post in which they're shown working around a Buchla synth. Just image.

They shouldn't be working with it, they should just let Alessandro Cortini work his magic.

It was written ďtogetherĒ with Audrey Riley, along with Blackout and the early string arrangement of Apocalypse Please. Itís mentioned in Out Of This World, and Matt talked about it somewhere because he didnít like not having full control of it. Matt talked about The Resistance as the first time that he did the string arrengements all by himself. Meaning he didnít do them himself on BH&R either.

The bald guy is Cortini?! I thought he was a hip hop producer!
Anyway, yeah, Cortini has also worked with many other great acts in music, so he knows what tricks to pull out of his sleeve...
