ok, thanks for the quick reply, so, i can ground it to either the bridge or the volume pot. the reason i'm trying to avoid the bridge is drilling the perfect hole

You don't ground to the bridge, you run a wire from the bridge to your chosen grounded point.

right, now i understand, sorry. you can tell i have not done this before. its going to be a good learning experience making this guitar and especialy installing the FF. thanks for the diagram btw

I recommend having at least one tree on the treble side, what size are the holes in the headstock? They are usually around 9mm. If so then these are the ones you want.

You can buy electric kits on the internet that include everything you need electronic-wise.

Not sure how reliable the site is, but they're the first thing to come up when searching for "Guitar Parts" in Google, so I'm imaging they're quite reliable.

Two 500k pots will be fine, you need pots, selector switch, and an output jack.
