Edit: that damn bass riff in the chorus though. That's the diamond in this song for sure imo.
Agreed about the bass riff, it's perfect.

Don't agree about the other bit though. I'm personally more embarrassed by something like Aftermath. Pressure is a good fun song that I think will be great live.

Almost definitely. It's the lead single off a new album on a show they're doing for promo.

Aftermath wasn't a single though. This is going to be THE radio song for this album. Think about how Uprising and Madness are still played on the radio when there isn't new Muse around. At least that's how it is in America.

They played Follow Me before release but the episode aired after, and it seems to be the same case here.

Just listening now with headphones, anyone else hearing more distorted whispers ( like in the TDS verses) under the first and third lines in the 2nd verse?

I guess I just don't find anything in it that really sounds bad to my ears. But then again I love Revolt so what do I know?

That explains it lol. It's the backing vocals in the chorus for me. If that melody was a synth I'd probably like the whole song. But as with alot of Muse songs something really tiny ruins the tone of the entire song for me.

Same with TC, if the whoa-oh vocals in the chorus were replaced with the synth version of the same melody in the intro of the song I'd enjoy the song a lot more.

It's almost bothering me how similar the verses are to Blue Orchid. It's so similar that that's all I can think about now.

Catchy! I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed this, but those backing vocals make me want to sing Day Man.

I do. I could see this fitting with songs like The Small Print, Thoughts of a Dying Atheist, and The Groove.

I've got to be honest. It's not doing anything for me at all.

Pressure sucks, the chorus is at least decent. TC is still the best. (TC>SH>TDS>DD)
