yep, the band win, record company wins, and the fans win too. Whats there not too like? and why isnt this already done!? in an age of digital media this is an avenue not really exploited by bands.

Didn't Dom Anderson work with Incubus? Maybe he will suggest this idea to Muse...

Is a fantastic idea!, Sure I'll buy the recording of my gig and maybe others special gigs. But I prefer to wait some months and have a better sound mix.
Oh, and they could sell some gigs of the past tours too.

Same here.
Phish offer official recordings of their shows for the fans to purchase. I purchased their recording from last year's SF Outside Lands on-line after I saw them. I know that I'd buy official recordings of the Muse shows I go to. If Muse do start offering this for the next tour, I hope and pray that they have recordings of shows from the last tour. I'd for sure buy an official bootleg from the Oakland, California gig in April 2010 (my first Muse show and they were on fire that night) and SF Outside Lands 2011 (my first time hearing Citizen Erased live). Quote:
I know I've already mentioned it, but I bought a Phish bootleg last year. When I ordered it, I had three options: 1) Digital download only (in the format of your choice) 2) CD only (to be made and mailed out to you) 3) Digital download and CD I went with option 3. I got the download right away and it took about 3 days to get the CD by mail. The CD version came in a cardboard case with some labels stuck on the front and back. Muse doesn't have to get all fancy. A cardboard sleeve with some sort of stickers on the front (for album art and showing the date of the show) and on the back (for a track listing) is all that's needed. Here's the link to how Phish do it: http://www.livephish.com/ They have a catalog of all their shows for fans to choose from.

Moved this over the S&R as it's more about releases really...
