sound was great, although I imagine the one you're looking at is better as the dimarzios weren't even the ones you can buy off the shelf. they were mass produced for fender or something like that.

the only thing that i found a bit odd is that it was really light and thin. usually i'd expect a tele to be a big heavy slab of wood, but this wasn't. not saying that's a bad thing though.

i'd say it's worth it anyway, the korean fenders are generally really good for the price and have great features

looks great with pickup covers too

Oh, I remember that one! That's the one I'm looking at, with different pups of course. Think I'm just gonna go for it... after I bought that Mansonmodded Tele and ended up selling it I swore I'd never buy a guitar without trying it but

Y'know

It's a magical place with vintage guitars under the beds and in the cupboards

Spacetone has one of the Shiflett Teles - they're pretty cool. And they sound nice right out of the box. And they come with a hard case. If I weren't so interested in other things, I might want one.

GAS list:
-'60s Jaguar
-Johnny Marr Jaguar
-Les Paul Junior DC
-Telecaster
-Guitar with a Fuzz Factory
-old Martin acoustic
-Kauer Daylighter Jr
-Elliott Raven
-MotorAve McQueen
-assorted pedals 'n shit

What's with MIDI rig? Surely a normal rig will suffice? MIDI seems like a bit of a gimmick unless you're on tour round the world with 1000 different pedals, 8 amps and 15 techs to run it all

Yeah a normal rig will and is sufficing for me at the moment, but this is the GAS thread. Does musecasters need all his? No way, but he can afford it and wants it so fair dos on him he's got a badass rig

Plus the whole MIDI thing seems handy with blending amp signals and switching multiple effects at once and generally keeping everything tidy. One day. Also I see no need for 1 tech nevermind 15

Yeah I like the idea of turning on multiple effects with the hit of a button, lot easier - and I guess you can have different settings for different banks for a pedal with MIDI?

Yeah, stuff like delay where you wanna change tempos and settings. Plus according to the switchblade website you can edit volumes and stuff, so like effects, amp volume etc. different combinations of effects. It just seems all very versatile and shit loads of possibilities
