My favourite video of it:

Ooh, that's another good performance. Honestly, every track on that EP was pretty damn solid, though I would have preferred a full-length audio (and possibly video) recording of the Resistance Stadium Tour shows. With videos of the UFOs and whatnot.

Always thought this was quite an underrated version of Fury.

Great performance (and the guitar sounds ace), but that bass tone

Yeah, BH&R tour was not the best for Chris' tones. Lots of fizz, little actual bass.

They've been mighty since 2009 though.

Ruled by Secrecy

Obviously, Glastonbury had a lot of really great performances. Specifically, I think that the Glastonbury performance of "Ruled by Secrecy" was hauntingly beautiful. But that isn't any new revelation or anything.

Though I also quite enjoy the one from Seattle 2010.

My top 3 RBS performances in no particular order are Glastonbury, Earl's Court night 2 and Glasgow 2012. Although if I had to choose the best I'd probably say Glasgow because of the great G#4 that he never previously hit

I've always wanted to see RBS badly but knowing that he'll never whip that G#4 out again is painful </3

Still jealous af that Hannah got that at, what, her first gig?

Edit: Maybe that's why it's not been played since. Matt finally hit that note and was like "wellp, shelve it boys, not topping that".

Even when he didn't belt the G#4 he eased it into the falsetto and still sounded great imo (although obviously not quite as good)

RBS is one of my favourite Muse songs tbh, controversial to say RBS > SD?

I can kinda agree with that actually. That ease into the falsetto he did for every other performance actually fit better with the eerie tone of the song imo. The G#4 just sounds impressive

I'd say Hoodoo > Space Dementia > RBS > Megalomania for best piano songs. Those four are on their own level for me.

What I find interesting is when there are alternate versions of a song featuring piano or guitar, such as Sunburn, Cave, and Soldier's Poem. I recently rediscovered the piano version of Screenager, which I greatly prefer over the guitar one featured on the album.

Personally I always felt it was a bit disappointing that he didn't belt his way all the way up to the C5

Space Dementia>RBS>Hoodoo>Sunburn (if that counts)

Actually I'd probably put Endlessly pretty high on that list now that I think about it.

My top 5 piano songs

RBS > Space Dementia > Megalomania > Hoodoo > Screenager

It feels mean to SD and Megalomania to not have top spot, such is the standard of these tunes

If we're talking album piano songs then Butterflies and Hurricanes certainly needs a mention. But if it's just live then my top two are definitely RBS and SD. Then you have the AP, Meglomania, Hoodoo, Screenager tier, then USoE and Endlessly, then crap like Explorers and Feeling Good.
