It also climbed to #23 in Spain and #28 in the Netherlands and the top ten on iTunes in Switzerland after the band's recent gigs in those countries. In the US the album has sold just under 3,000 copies for three straight weeks.

Panic Station is holding stationary at #4 at US Alternative radio. The PS video reportedly got played twice on MTV2 in the US this past week.

Portugal really loves Muse. Even in extreme economic recession and with overpriced tickets (comparing to other european countries) the stadium was almost packed and T2L is still selling

Ticket price in Australia will be more than $75. It was $110 in TR Tour and there will probably be an increase from that.

Good point. Acts have to charge more Down Under to cover costs especially transport.

Unsustainable Tour Avg Ticket Price Analysis:

1.2 million tickets sold @ $75 = $90 million (Europe and Japan) Note: Highest ticket prices went as high as $100 in Europe and Japan for the best seats

525k tickets sold @ $57 = $30 million (North America)

80k tickets sold @$110 = $9 million (Australia/New Zealand) - Not yet confirmed

1.8 million tickets sold - $130 million estimated gross - avg ticket price of $72.22

By comparison, the avg ticket price for 64 shows of the band's TR tour during calendar year 2010 was $62.23 according to Pollstar. Of all the superstar acts who have toured in the past few years, Muse have likely charged the lowest ticket prices, especially in North America.

Follow Me was played at about 15 US Alternative radio stations this past week perhaps as a result of the opening of World War Z ranking it at #85 on the Mediabase chart while Panic Station dropped precipitously to #13 on the latest Billboard chart in its 24th week, despite KROQ belatedly giving it 18 spins in the last reporting period.

Hmmmm.....that 5,000 for Ct. seems weird to me...any idea what that venue holds?? Because it looked basically full to me, and I always thought it held more than 5,000 people...????

Considering the first three nights were sold out in a week and fourth night wil be sold out quickly as well, Mexico City is probably about 90,000.

CT = Connecticut (state), not Cincinatti (city in the state of Ohio)

the mohegan sun arena has a capacity of 10,000. around 5000 tickets for the show were sold. it may have appeared fuller as casinos will give away tickets as comps, so the actual attendance may have been higher than the number of tickets sold, i suspect. (yes i was there as well)
