Congrats to Coldplay whose AHFOD stadium/arena global tour (2016-17) with almost 5.4 million tickets sold at the end of 2017 will likely end up becoming the third highest-grossing concert tour of all time earning approx $523 million dollars in total trailing only U2's 360° tour (2009-11) and The Rolling Stones' A Bigger Bang tour (2005-07).

Guns N' Roses' Not in This Lifetime reunion tour (2016-18) however has been extended and will probably overtake Coldplay's tour in 2018 grossing around $540 million in total.

Garth Brooks' North America arena tour (2015-17) with 380 shows and approx 6.5 million tickets sold will trail only U2 on the all-time concert attendance list for a single tour.

Incidentally, the latest Muse track Dig Down has reached about 27 million views and listens on these two services.

What Do Rights-Holders Earn From Streaming (According to Billboard Estimates):

"YouTube says payouts averaged $0.0030 per stream in the U.S., or $3.00 for every thousand U.S. plays in 2016; some label sources agree they have earned about that much during the fourth quarter and for top-viewed clips, but calculate the average rate per stream for official music videos and user-generated content over the course of the year to have been between $2.00 to $2.50 per 1,000 streams. Other record companies said they were only receiving $1.00 to $1.50 per 1,000 plays, resulting in a consensus YouTube rate of $0.00225 per stream, or $2.25 per 1,000. Spotify's ad-supported tier, by comparison, paid $1.50 per 1,000 streams, or $0.0015-per-stream, in the U.S. in 2016, sources say, while its subscription tier paid about $0.0060 per-stream, or $6 per 1,000 streams, according to Spotify data supplied to Billboard. Other digital services like Amazon, Apple, Napster and Tidal have per-stream pay rates north of Spotify's paid tier, sources say."
