Well obviously I'm new since I'm introducing myself
![]() I'm 34 and from Finland and YES; another female... ![]() What else can I say? I'm obsessed with Muse... Which is strange since I only started listening to their music like couple of months ago... This NEVER happened to me before with any other band, so there's definately something magical about this band ![]() And YES, I saw them in Helsinki on the 22nd October and LOVED every minute of the show. So that's it I guess... |

Hi there! I opened a thread for my introduction 'cause I din't see this one!
I'm Eleonora from Italy, I'm 18 and I'm a Muse addicted from few days.. I'm very new to their world 'cause I'm a rock music lover only from 2007 when I discovered my favourite band, Genesis. I also LOVE Franz Ferdinand, Coldplay and many more bands! Hope to know some good people here! Cheers

Hi, obviously I'm new here
My name is Aline, but you can call me Lotus or Lily. I'm from Brazil (São Paulo) and I've been listening to Muse (but not regularly) since 2002 but I wasn't that crazy about them (I know... strange) It was a difficult time in my life which I almost stopped listening to music (ironically, I was living in England at that time). As I'm a musician, this was quite drastic, I was facing an existential crisis which took years to pass. ![]() Anyway... Muse was the responsible for my recovery after (about) five years of this mess. In 2006, I decided to buy Origin of Symmetry as I liked some songs from this album but I got from the local library to check it first. Until now, this is my favorite album from these fantastic, talented musicians and great blokes However, I love all the albuns, no exception. Sorry, it was quite long, but I thought I had to write this down. I'm immensely greateful as a music lover and also as a musician that Muse exist. I love you guys and wish all the best to you ![]() You literary rock ![]() Take care Aline |

So, hi. I'm new, as it must be obvious. I've been a fan for about half a year, but I'm going to my first Muse gig in December (NSSN in CA). Yeah. I think Muse is supremely rad, and I probably younger than most other members

Okay then, introduce myself... My name is Maria, from Portugal, and I like Muse since late 2006, that means, pretty much 3 years... It's the longest "favourite" band I ever had, so that should say something
. One of the best thing about the band is their live performances... (HAARP, cause I didn't see them yet, but anyway I will soon, in 3 weeks ) The best albums are Absolution and Origin but I like all of them, really...

Hi, I'm new here too.
I've been lurking for a little while, but haven't posted anything, soI thought I should at least post in this thread. I'm relatively new to Muse, about a year, but I live in the US, so that's my excuse for not learning about them earlier . I live in the middle of the country, and it seems like Muse have only been to the east and west coasts recently. Looking forward to the US resistance tour!

Hi! I'm Melissa, I'm 40, live in TX, and my husband, two young boys and I all love MUSE.
We became fans (deep breath) because of Twilight (exhale). I know Twilight fans get no love on this board, and I'll probably get flamed for admitting it, but it's the honest truth. I've been in Blues Clues/Dora/Thomas Train/Clifford/Wiggles hell for many years now, and had stopped listening to current music. Then I heard Supermassive on the big screen in Feb, and it blew me away. After a month of blasting that track in my car, I decided to see what else they had written, so I found a copy of HAARP in Best Buy. Totally smitten! Bellamy is my god! Their sound is aural sex for me - hard and rocking at times, but also smooth, sensual and enveloping. It didn't take long to buy most of their back catalog on iTunes (minus all the EPs and rare stuff) and watch videos and live performances on YouTube. We are so hooked! My husband is always asking me, "How is it that we didn't know about them before now?" I'd say that Origins of Symmetry is currently my favorite album, with Absolution close behind. My favorite songs span the gamut - Dark Shines, Recess, Uno, Muscle Museum, Unintended, Sing for Absolution, Butterflies & Hurricanes, Yes, Please, Supermassive, Hoodoo, I Belong to You, Resistance, Starlight, Hysteria, Fury, Take a Bow, Uprising. There are very few of their songs that I don't like. Their stuff is on constant play in my iPod, so my kids have learned most of the lyrics as well. Last month, we caught their show with U2 in Houston, and it was awesome! They mentioned coming back in the Spring, and we intend to be there! ...preparing for the Twilight flames. . . |

Welcome new members, glad that you're joining the Muse forum world to communicate with others about Muse and other fantastic musical or otherwise topics.
Also, it's great to hear that you're going to see Muse live, Lollipop. Be sure to report on how great they were on the forums.
