I'd kill to hear them do the Moody Blues' "Nights In White Satin". They could do some stunning things with that one, I bet.
With you on that
Brilliant !

don't know why but i could also imagine them doing a Muse version of loosing you (A-HA) for the older crowd

after seeing this interview from Q Awards (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVQTGgpEKYU) : think "Paparazzi" by Lady Gaga should be covered by Matt ! makes me laugh ! Is he really serious ? (as Chris with "Womanizer" LOL)

Pink Floyd's 'A Saucerful of Secrets'

Matt singing Gilmour's vocals (@8:35) They can even fill in all their jams and riffs in the first 5 minutes of the song.

I still think they should do Hitman by Queen..

It's not one of those 'massive' Queen songs that are so well known the original overshadows any attempt to cover it. I think maybe I am dying for Muse to do another song with a massive riff going all the way through lol... oh well.
“What I want to clear up is that we’re not in any way trying to select who our audience is going to be. I don’t just want a load of 'cool' people to be into it. I want anyone who’s into it for the value of the music and what we are, and what we play live.” --Matt Bellamy, NME. Sept 2000

Led Zeppelin - Rock and Roll
AC/DC - Let There Be Rock
Blur - Song 2
Radiohead - Just
But I think the most awesome thing they could do is combine the drum and bass jam and the kaoss jam, that would be awesome.

^This, or at least recreate a version of Space Dementia or Exogenesis with a Sigur Ros-like style. That would be awesome.

Haven't read any of the replies here, but: You Know My Name by Chris Cornell. That would ROCK.

Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley

I was listening to this the other day, and thought that Matt would be able to pull this off.
