They don't need an orchestra to steal their space, in my opinion.

Exactement, Muse never said they were actually going to do it; yes, they definitely hinted so but that's where it ends.

That was single-handedly the greatest thing i've witnessed all year. I mean, holy shit. U2 and Muse are my two favourite bands. Streets is my favourite U2 song. Favourite band covering favourite U2 song (and doing a kickass job of it btw) = Heaven

Suprisingly I thought that was good. When I saw the rumours about the Edge ddn't expect much but that looked brilliant.

I've gotta agree - this performance was a lot better than I expected.

They were on fire tonight, hands down.
I was watching again this morning and I think it was a massive moment and I'm not even a U2 fan. But they were so happy, and Matt's voice is beautiful. I felt teary watching it again this morning. A perfect moment to exorcise the Glastonbury demons and embrace the future. Poor Bono though, probably wasn't too great for him.

I think that little giggle from Matt in the middle was because he was stretching his arm out and it just struck him at that moment that he was doing a Bono.

Yes, the famous air grabbing arm move! Awww, but I love U2... Oh my, I'm still all hyper because of that cover version with Edge.
