Seriously, I was 16 when I built my replica with a hammer and chisel...I wasn't allowed to use the power tools
I just blew up images of the guitar and trace it onto a piece of wood.

I have a friend who can make an acrylic router template for the Manson MB-1, if you're interested let me know but I would have to check how long it would take to make and how much it would be.

Thats how I made mine.

EGSolidbody will make the body for only a little bit more than that.

Was he saying a neck was included though?

And Tom, I thought you said EGsolidbody didn't do the best job on that body you got from them. I don't know what the quality is like, but I recall you said something about the construction

Well the quality isn't great but I guess that's what you get for a 100 body.

I think my friends ones were for an MB-1 with dual humbuckers, fsk 101 board and amptonelab kit and are about 65 if I recall.

I was pretty happy with the body I got from EGSolidBody. The Neck pocket is tight, (might loosen it just a little), and the MIDI pad routing just needs a little work. The routing to put the screen in is really tight, going to open that up just a fraction so it sits nicely, and he drilled the hole for the MIDI jack the same size as the one for the 1/4" jack, but it should actually be much smaller. I'm just going to plug it and re-drill it, unless anyone knows where I can get a MIDI plug that looks like the ones on Matts guitar with the Cats Eye Mounting Plate.

Last time I was on his site though, he had no Mattocaster stuff on there anymore.

I'm thinking of making a Wah new plate for my 007 replica. looking at the panel it looks like the copper plating is coming off, is this the case? as i thought it was just a solid copper please? (anyone with a wah could check please )

I think that's a reflection Kev. Or Tarnished. I'm sure the probe plates are solid copper.

Yeah it looks like a reflection to me, and I'm pretty sure zvex uses solid copper for those pedals (although I don't know if Mansons used the copper plate from the pedal or not)

Yeah, what's happened there is Matt has worn through the clear coat on the copper, allowing the metal underneath to tarnish. That's what PCB stock looks like if you leave it unused for a while.

notice how much more angle the ToM bridge has on the new mirror guitar compared to 007.
