A little late but I had the same issue with mine. Just loosen the screws in the corners and it will settle back down and not bend. You have them too tight

Shouldn't be too long. Had some delays cos he's also got uni and dissertation to work on (he's making it for the cost of parts and a few drinks down the SU) but it's getting there. Also we're both too cheap to afford some sandpaper at the moment so he's waiting for his bursary to come through before proper finishing can start. After I send pickguard off to get anodised I'll have like £40 to get me to April

EDIT: Good news is, it is getting along, and his housemate is a pro photographer so can hopefully expect sxc hi res shots of it when done

Does anyone know where to get midi jacks like the ones on the MB-1's? They have a metal surround. I'm not sure if Manson's actually make them or not.

I always though they were just a standard 'football' shape jack that they just drilled wider to fit the midi jack?

Would that be something similar to what he's describing, just with a LP style jack plate?

Yeah maybe, I think that's what they are. I just didn't know if they were sold like that anywhere.

They're available pretty much anywhere that sells MIDI spares or kits. It's not a specialised part, just a panel mount MIDI jack.
