Hate This and I'll Love You!

In my opinion, Hate This and I'll Love You is Muse's most underrated song. Even super-hardcore fans rarely discuss it. But why? It has awesome, chill-sounding instrumentals, and it builds over time to demonic sound effects that complete the song, making it one of my favorite Muse songs! How did it possibly get so neglected? It's just sitting there, in a corner, looking for a friend, but no one even sees it there.

But seriously, where's the love? Oh, yes, there it is, sitting comfortably near the end of the title. But that's all it has, really. Use this thread to give it some more. Say some good words about it, make it feel more appreciated. All it wants is some attention.

It's one of the only good songs on Showbiz .

Tbh, I forget it exists a lot of the time, but it is a good track.

It's okay but only because most of Showbiz looks so average next to it.

Hmmm not really one of my favs.

Sunburn, MM, Showbiz, Falling Down, Unintended, Uno, are all definitely a lot better than Hate this. IMO!!!!

It was instantly one of my favourites off Showbiz when I first listened to it.

Unappreciated gem indeed, as a lot of Showbiz is. Although Spiral Static should've replaced Falling Down IMO. Too epic to have been left off the album. Bad decision, boys

In some random pub in Leeds they played this as the first song after we came off stage at a gig.

Was such a weird...but nice contrast! lol

Nah, Falling Down is good, it deserved its place on the album. Overdue however could have been axed for SS

I love this song (even though I'm not a Showbiz fan right now). I put Showbiz on one night to fall asleep to. I woke up for this song. I think it was the crickets that woke me up ironically.

I personally think that SS should be on Showbiz in place of Overdue or something like that. Ugh, I don't really like Showbiz much anyways, Muscle Museum, Showbiz, Falling Down, Hate This, and SS should have been the album.

'Because I was born to destroy you, I am growing stronger by the hour'.

Love this song, great lyrics. It's certainly quite underrated.
