Uprising ending outside TV studio
Help! I've been searching and searching, but I can't seem to find it.
A couple of years ago, Muse played Uprising on some tv/chat show. They played in the studio up until the extended ending riff, where they left the studio and continued playing outside. There were crowds outside too. Did I dream this?

At the VMAs in 2009. Matt only went outside for about 5 seconds though.

If I remember correctly, a bunch of people were awarded passes, and then at the last hour, not everyone was allowed entry. Matt felt bad about it, and went out for a few seconds to sing to the ones who got left out. And the VMA people made him go back in right away.

No it was not the first performance, the first was in their native town.
I was there inside the theater at MTV Misic Video Awards, so feel free to ask questions if you have more. Tom told me before the gig that Matt plans to go outside, the rumor spread and there were people waiting for him to go out, but no too many, not really a big crowd.
