I posted this in the album thread but it probably should go here: Absolute Radio's Facebook page mentions that this morning there will be "a very exciting announcement for fans of a certain band from Devon". Maybe they're doing one of the Absolute Radio Live Sessions?

Edit: It's an intimate gig in Germany and they say to tune in tomorrow for competition details.

Just realized I originally posted in the wrong thread. Moved it here!

Yeah, hyena's art is wonderful! I always look forward to the Christmas cards she sends out.

I think most of them are really good, artwise. I'm not talented at all when it comes to painting/drawing.

It's been such an off-week for rehashing other people's articles and spying on the .mu board that someone at Gigwise spent their evening searching the internet for dirty Muse pictures... MmmHmm.

And "holy shit!" is that the same hyena who has tons of good gig vids up? Because those are fucking amazing.

As an artist myself, I must say that I don't even know how some people post their drawings on the Internet But then again, we all start somewhere.
Some of them are awesome, although I miss Chris

Yes, I thought that was a bit unfair, too.

Few things are more frustrating to a music fan than the sell-out record selling a fuckload of records. Muse – once merely faintly ridiculous purveyors of awesome riffage and vague undergraduate nihilism – started their slide into the U2/Killers quicksand of generically uplifting arena rock with this record. There’s actually some great pop songs in the front half, and genre experiments that predate the band’s two-album sense of humour deficiency. ‘Map of the Problematique’ is a crazy fun industrial underground Kraut-rave nightmare, and ‘Supermassive Black Hole’ and ‘Starlight’ are lightweight but flawlessly constructed pop.

But the second half is loaded with doomy bullshit like the shameless System of A Down rip ‘City of Delusion’ (featuring a didgeridoo!) and the turgid anthem-for-nothing ‘Knights of Cydonia’ – the longest Hottest 100 #1 ever (and the dumbest, for all of a year). The newest Muse track, ‘Madness’, revisits the best of their witty pop side – it’d be nice if they stopped trying to start a revolution. – Caitlin Welsh
They usually like Muse so this is interesting

EDIT: I thought this was a new article but turns out they just reposted it to their Facebook page anyhow.

Wasn't it "Assassin, Assassin" they were chanting, not "Knights of Cyd, Knights of Cyd"? Because let's be honest - Muse are never not going to play Knights of Cydonia.
