Anyone tried this amp before?

I'm thinking of getting that with this cabinet

No idea about the different speaker sizes though....

edit: or one of these. Didn't realize there was a combo

I find that most interfaces these days seem to come with built in pre-amps. I don't really need pre-amps. What I do need is as many analogue inputs as possible, minimum 16, with the possibility to expand further. USB, FW, PCI would all be fine.

I have a Tascam US1800 at the moment and you can't have more than one plugged in at the same time, which is sh*te.

Can you recommend me an interface under £500 to fit the bill? I would prefer to buy second hand if it can save me money

....

Maybe there's a way to combine the Tascam with another interface? Or maybe someone has an idea of how to use more than one of them at the same time?

Hey lads.

I am looking at suitable backups for my telecaster. I had set my sights on the Classic vibe Squier (change out the pups and the tuners) but so far I havent found a copy I like.
As I was wandering around one of the local guitarstores around I found a Schecter tele. Now, I was expecting it to have a reverse headstock and an active emg in it but no, it looked and sounded quite decent (albeit more expensive than the Squier).

Does anyone have any experience of these telecaster look-a-likes, be it Schacter or Vintage or whatever.

Ta !

noap but if you like it, go for it. If I actually got to try out the guitar I wanted (rare these days) I wouldn't be asking for opinions online, I'd use my own judgment

So I shouldn't be asking about the quality of a product, in this case a very cheap guitars that are prone to be shite, online then?

Squier Telecasters are hardly my (or anyones) dream guitars. I intended to use it only as a back up in case of my american telecaster would break a string on stage and use it for only as long as it takes my tech to change the string.

Sorry for wasting your time Cheddar, carry on.

The ridiculous part of me keeps thinking if I sell Hayden and Blackstar I could just about afford a Kemper

EDIT: Keep seeing Kemper rack units for £1000 on Facebook ahh. That, a Liquid Foot+ 12 and an expression pedal for whammy and my TU2 would be lovely

although then I need more stuff to get whammy linked to expression pedal. Money money money. I shall pursue this dream by buying scratchcards

I'm looking into getting a new laptop in a few months and I'd like to know what you guys would recommend. I plan on doing music production for bands next summer so I know lots of RAM and a good soundcard would be required. Personally, I'd like to avoid Apple products as I think they're a bit out of my range (<€900) but if they're the best by a country mile then I'd look into them.

Any suggestions?

Mac Mini Dave? There's some new ones coming out soon so you should be able to hunt some decent deals for the current ones, which still can have pretty good specs

I'm not sure it's what I'm looking for. I'd have to bring a monitor around with me and that seems the defeat the purpose.
I'll look to see if there are any macbook pros going cheap used. Is there any particular models I should avoid or anything to look out for?
