Sing for Absolution Live
Hey all! Sorry if I am posting in the wrong forum, if this has been covered already or if there is a better forum to ask this please let me know.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwvEA...eature=related I am wondering what he is playing here.... Is it just octaves? He plucks both notes one after another and then just has delay and whammy octave harmony going? i want to be able to cover this live exactly how he is, anyone know? |

I can do it with my axe fx this way:
Take a pitch shifter, delay the shifted signal by about 210ms. then use a regular delay pedal and delay the blended signal for 420ms. So, basically what you'd have to do is this: singal into a wammy. Whammy wet signal into a delay pedal. Set that pedal to about 210ms or turn the knob to the proper time. Then combine both the dry and wet signal with something like a boss LS-2 and then run those into a delay pedal set to exactly twice the delay time as the first pedal. Set that to delay 3-4 times or whatever. |
