Slightly off topic but does anyone know exactly which surrounds the mb-1 has?
I have to admit this is my first build and after a search online for 'Black humbucker surrounds' there are all sorts of flat edged/curved based.....and so on.... If anyone has built a replica could they post where they got them? I will be keeping the same pickups of the manson humbucker and fernandes sustainer like Matt's black mb-1. Thanks in advance! |

There was a tele/moc hybrid a while ago with parts of the chrome that came out very milky rather than reflective. I think that was the last time Mansons used them.
As you said though, some of them have come out amazingly and hopefully yours will too !
