Got to admit, although I'd get annoyed with everyone being like 'omgzz u fanboi u no original u no mak ur own gitar mon', I really would love a Moc. It's just a gorgeous shape.

Wouldn't bother with a FF or any of that shit though.

I just love that chrome MoC.

The smaller bodies or the E shape would do me fine if I wanted a MoC.

Just a quick ditty of the sound of the chrome guitar. This is all the p90 in the neck. The bliss bit is simply the guitar and a delay pedal, nothing else whilst the other has a bit of distortion and what not.

Alex/zooropa, when did you do this?

and how much space does it take up compared to the fernandes?

This was probably about a month ago in the shop. Another tech finished installing it, and I asked to take a test run.

It takes up far less space than a fernandes. It doesn't require any routing, it can side mount onto a cavity. The switches can be placed wherever, they aren't hardwired to the board. And as far as performance, I won't ever use a Fernandes again. Not saying that Fernandes is bad, but the Sustainiac outperforms, on top of the installation perks. The attack is much quicker, more powerful. It catches the note and picks up the harmonic almost instantly (as you can hear).

Interesting. Did you notice any additional string noise once you put it in?

The fernandes apparently causes some string rattle because of how it sucks at the strings, but I don't know whether that's a fact or not... all of my sustainer equipped guitars have that same rattle in the same place on the neck though
