Okay, if they edited it, it would actually flow really well (if Dead Star was put there, I'd also put it after PIB). On that note, I'd also like an edit where Space Dementia flows into Hyper Music a bit better.

I did that, I guess you're right (I already knew about "the loudness war", and I knew how BH&R is the most affected by it, among the muse albums. About TaB, I still think has less problems in that meaning compared to MoTP or CoD, for example )

Obviously Soundcheck isn't perfect, but it does expose a consistent theme within modern rock music. Even stuff I've recorded directly from vinyl will sound "louder"!

IIRC Matt talked about the possibility of doing something like this to older songs, and mentioned Unintended and Newborn (no, not TR era Newborn I'm pretty sure). I don't get the impression they'd bother for quite some time if it ever does happen.
