My friend isn't even a Muse fan. She just wanted to see me. I have introduced her to some of their music and she's liking it. My plan is to get her hooked so she'll come to Wembley with me and our other friend.

Ohh, sorry! Yeahh, I'll defo do that if I can't get sufficient fundage or my friend to come too!

Well actually, despite having been a fan for around about 9 years, my first Muse gig wasn't until Reading 2006, so I can't really compare their more recent gigs to the really early ones. They've remained consistantly tight and awesome though

Ahhh lavlay I don't understand why people on here always bitch about how 'oh so disappointing' their live performances are these days...I thought 'Is there something wrong with me? Are ascending bigass towers and epic green lasers the norm for most concerts? ' bloody criticism

I'm so glad it's over!

Their expectations for an ordinary gig probably just rose too high
But its amazing how they have managed to keep their live performances at such a high standard so consistently though!

I don't blame you, it can be a bit scary to do it on your own at night if you're not used to it!

I've never watched FotC

I think a lot of people's issues lie primarily with the static setlists, rather than anything else. I can kind of see the point - they should be playing more varied sets - but at the same time, people are still choosing to go to the gigs, and 99.9% of people there still seem to have an amazing time.

Ah yeah, that is a good point actually...I know that alot of people want more Showbiz on there...they're probably trying to cater for the 'newest' fans who would have found them through BH&R/The Resistance. But I have a feeling there'll be some surprises in store for Manchester though

WOOH YEAH.

I know this was awhile back, but I was reading through the thread and saw the google maps where it had walking routes across the Atlantic. Almost peed my pants laughing.

When 2 of my friends came to Boston a few weeks ago for Muse, they were looking at Google Maps to find the best walking route to their hotel from the train station. Google Maps told them to go through a tunnel that leads to New York.
