Not sure what I make of this track - the first sample released was interesting, the nice piano ballad stuff. But wtf to the first "there can be only one" Queen part? The middle-eastern sounding piano riff thing is great though.

But then there's EuraSIA! SIA! SIA! Oh my.

Is it me or Chris is playing with a 5 string bass? OR he's playing with his bass half tone down, he never does that.

He does live with Starlight and Fury, which are all half a step down. But he also has a 5-string bass too. Could really be either.

It's Chopin.

The song would be

"Nocturne In E Flat Op 9 No 2"

Search up a tab somewhere you're sure to find it.

United States of Eurasia Sheet Music (New: Main Riff)

I did have this posted in jTc42's thread here: http://board.muse.mu/showthread.php?t=63124 but as I added more stuff, I feel like this should be posted in a new thread to make it easier to find and such.

Still incomplete, I have the first two parts done in a really simple fashion, and now the main riff. Enjoy, and let me know if something is wrong or doesn't sound right to you, I'm fairly certain that all of the chords at least are right, and that the Main Riff is pretty close to perfect. I will work on the left hand and stuff to the Main Riff tomorrow, then work on getting the transition between the first two parts and the main riff after that.

Looks good, I'll give it a go later. You might want to add a key sig to the first parts and clearly mark transitions, where vocals come in, etc.
What program are you using? Sibelius?

Well, Fury and Starlight don't really need the bass half step down to be played. I never saw his 5 string bass. I'm about to tab the bass but I want to be sure of what I'm doing. Looks like we're going to have to wait for the first live video to be sure.

Alright. Your chords are fantastic, I've been listening hard to the individual notes moving and I've redone the first 8 bars. The only thing I'm unsure about is the little arpeggio run in bar 7. The D in that bar also sounds discordant, but if you listen you can hear it.

The first 4 bars are pretty much guaranteed right, if it doesn't, it's because Matt accents some notes a lot more than others, for example the descending Eb, D, Db, C at the start.

I'll keep working on this too

That probably wouldn't be a bad idea. Can you actually move the thread over, or do you have to lock this one and we just change?
