but they dont last long at all. which is the problem with them

Phill 07-05-2009 10:48 PM

ah rubbish. do you think the led will draw a lot of power?

teej212 07-05-2009 10:49 PM

probably not, leds barely draw any power at all, i dont know about the blinkm led that is used in this (right?)

hooglebug 07-05-2009 10:50 PM

dunno. not a clue. i guess you can but try. if it eats rechargeable ones for breakfast you can always just stick a normal one in there

Phill 07-05-2009 10:54 PM

yeah, if i ever get the fucking thing finished :awesome: there's a chance it'll be all assembled and just need wiring and polishing by the end of the weekend.

hooglebug 07-05-2009 10:55 PM

coolies. just remember not to polish after finish sanding right away. leave it over night for the newly exposed layer to cure again.

hooglebug 07-05-2009 10:59 PM

erm.....cant remember. lol. its just your normal stuff from an auto shop place. i use swirl remover after too.

Phill 07-05-2009 11:01 PM

ok cool. never even heard of swirl remover! i guess it removes the swirls left from polishing...........

hooglebug 07-05-2009 11:05 PM

teej212 08-05-2009 12:41 AM

awesome, what types of pickups? and is it going to be a m1d1 copy or more of an original MoC

james90 08-05-2009 01:48 AM

just a quick question

is there a big difference between brazilian rosewood and indian rosewood?

OllySK 08-05-2009 07:35 AM

I think the main difference is the appearence with Brazillian having a bit more colour and variation like with macasser ebony compared to the normal plain ebony. I'm not sure if i read this somewhere but brazillian rosewood is also tends to be harder than other rosewoods with a smoother feel.

And on a different matter, that M1D1 replica looks amazing. Great work hoogle.
